

After widespread violence in Nepal, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has finally resigned without finding any solution. Nine ministers in his cabinet have also resigned. It is reported that some members of the cabinet have fled the country.
Even after the ban on social media was lifted, the violence in Nepal did not stop. Three ministers of the Nepal government were the first to resign. Today, the capital Kathmandu was also burning. The Nepal government blocked social media apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, and the youth protested against it. They also raised corruption allegations against the government. The protest became so violent that the police had to fire tear gas shells. Today, a large number of protesters took to the streets demanding the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
It is worth noting that 23 people were killed in police firing during the protest.
An official said that defying the curfew, the protesters entered the country’s parliament and set it on fire. Earlier, they attacked the office of the country’s largest party, the Nepali Congress, and the residences of many prominent politicians.
High alert on the India-Nepal border
Flights to Nepal and Kathmandu have been suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing violent protests in Nepal. Two flights from India to Nepal have also returned halfway. Two IndiGo flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Kathmandu have returned. The flights returned after they were not granted landing permission at Tribhuvan Airport. In addition, three Air India flights from Delhi to Kathmandu have also been canceled. All flights from TIA have been canceled due to security reasons.
High alert on India-Nepal border
After heavy protests and violence, the army has been put on alert on the border near Darjeeling. Local SP Praveen Prakash said that close surveillance is being maintained.
The Prime Minister is going to leave the country with all the ministers. Planes and helicopters have been kept ready at the airport. According to the information received, many planes going to Kathmandu are now circling in the sky. Due to the closure of the airport, it has been reported that planes going to Kathmandu from Delhi, Dhaka, Bangkok are now circling in the sky.”
Further sources said that “The government has collapsed in Nepal. But the violence and agitation have not stopped. Despite the resignation of Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and his cabinet, the public’s anger has not subsided.
