During this period, several programs such as parliament marches, sit-ins, and indefinite hunger strikes were also organized. Despite all this, the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have not appeared ready to bow to any such pressure and have retained Dharmendra Pradhan in his post. The government wants to send a strong message of not bowing down to pressure
