Scientists have discovered a secret tunnel network in space, raising questions about whether aliens built this mysterious network.
Often people think that the solar system is filled with only planets and empty spaces, but a recent research has proved that this is not so. Recently scientists have found many tunnels. Apart from this, they have found out where our solar system is located.

In a long-term research, scientists found that our solar system is located in a place called Local Hot Bubble. This area is spread over about 300 light years and is formed by a supernova explosion.

Supernova means explosion of very big stars. These explosions heated the surrounding gas so much that its density decreased and the temperature here increased considerably.
Different temperatures
The researchers also found that the temperature of this bubble is different in the upper and lower parts. This means that this area is not uniformly hot, but it has many layers.
Mysterious tunnel
The biggest discovery of scientists is a tunnel that goes towards the Centaurus constellation. Apart from this, another tunnel is seen going towards the Canis Major constellation. It is believed that these tunnels connect the places where stars are formed and the areas with hot gas.
Help of this device
The most important tool behind this discovery was a device named eROSITA, with its data, scientists prepared a 3D map of the local hot bubble. This map revealed the tunnel and the changes in temperature.
The mystery is still there
Many decades ago, scientists thought that there could be a network of empty caves or channels in space, but there was no concrete evidence about it at that time. Now this research confirms those old estimates. This discovery may be exciting, but many questions still remain.
