World’s leading tech company Google has opened its latest Veo 3 video AI model to users for free for the first time. However, this opportunity will last only till this weekend. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has announced on social media platform X that Google Veo 3 will be free for every user this weekend.
Veo 3 was launched by Google in May 2025 at the I/O developer conference. Till now it was available only for paid users, but the life-like videos made through it were becoming very viral on social media. Google said that this feature can be used for free in India till 10:30 am on Monday through the Gemini app. The company has kept a limit of 3 free video generation for free users.
The fast model of Veo 3 can make a video of up to 8 seconds, whose quality will be 720p. It is faster than the standard model, but the visual quality will be slightly less. The special thing is that Veo 3 can also generate synchronized audio, background music and dialogues with the video.
How to make video with Veo 3 ?
Open the Gemini app on your phone.
Click on the three-dot menu in the search bar.
Now you will see a new option to create a video from Veo. Tap on it and start generating a free video.
After this, you will be asked to give a detailed description of a scene so that Veo 3 can visualize it and create a video. Apart from this, you can upload a picture which it will create a video from.
