The conversation between Russian President Putin, North Korean leader Lim Sui and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the ‘Victory Day’ in Beijing is going viral. In which they are discussing the formula to increase human life span to 150 years.
But the big question is, can a human really be kept alive to 150 years? In fact, experiments are being conducted in ‘Biotechnology and Medical Science’ in which attempts are being made to replace human organs and make the body young again.
Scientists believe that the aging process can be slowed down with techniques like ‘oxygen therapy, cell regeneration, gene editing and organ transplantation’. New research also claims that ‘telomere extension’ i.e. slowing down cell division and ‘cloning technology’ can keep humans young and now research is being done on the possibility of never dying i.e. immortality. Right now this is a dream, it will take time to make it a reality.

While science today tries to increase human life expectancy, India’s ‘Yoga and Ayurveda’ has believed for centuries that a person can live a long and healthy life with the right food, right breathing, right lifestyle. If living to 150 years is a dream, then Yoga and Ayurveda can show him the way to be healthy and happy.
